CASKA is the largest sea kayaking group in the Chicago area. Its Yahoo group is a great source of information, trip announcements and paddling partners. CASKA members organize paddles on (and sometimes across) Lake Michigan, local lakes and rivers and throughout the Great Lakes. Many CASKA members are instructor-level paddlers, but CASKA is open to all. Paddling safety is a club priority. Check out the CASKA Safety Brochure on the CASKA blog and website.
